FITNESS FIRST LAUNCHES LATEST CLUB IN THE EAST AT PAYA LEBAR SINGPOST CENTRE
The newly launched club introduce innovative training formats such as BOOM™ and TURF Games
Singapore, 1 August 2018– On 1 August 2018, Fitness First, one of the largest fitness brands in the world and the largest in Southeast Asia, will add another training space to its 20-club strong portfolio with the opening of Fitness First Paya Lebar. Conveniently located at level 2 of the newly renovated SingPost Centre, which is situated beside Paya Lebar MRT station, Fitness First Paya Lebar is the latest fitness and lifestyle addition to the buzzing East of Singapore.
Building on Fitness First’s signature Freestyle™ Group Training method, the 1,115 square-metre Fitness First Paya Lebar provides ample dedicated open areas within the club to inspire creativity and build confidence in three-dimensional and functional training. Fitness First Paya Lebar will also offer members access to exclusive and latest state-of-the-art fitness equipment, including the revolutionary running machine, Zero Runner, which mimics real running motion with minimal impact. The gym has also brought back the member-favourite Stairs Climber, effective at increasing both endurance and stamina.
Fitness First Paya Lebar will also be the first Fitness First club in Singapore to offer BOOM™ - a Fitness First proprietary high-intensity full-body conditioning workout inspired by boxing. The 45 minute music-driven workout is an effective platform to burn calories, improve muscle definition, coordination, core stability, power and strength. The programme has been well-received across the region, and will be launched at Paya Lebar before potentially rolling out to selected gyms across the island.
Members will also be able to put their agility ability and speed to the test with TURF GAMES, hour-long sessions that challenge members to scale through an athletic course consisting of rope climbing, monkey bar and bar bell.
“At Fitness First, we bring the best of fitness and wellness programmes, equipment and expertise closer to our members all over the island. With Paya Lebar, we’ve introduced an integrated wellness concept, and are excited to introduce innovative training formats such as BOOM™ and TURF Games, revolutionary equipment such as the Zero Runner, and wellness expertise with our unique refreshments made with fresh fruit, to those living in or close to the East. We look forward to expanding our brand of wellness, beyond fitness across the island,” said Anil Chugani, Country Manager of Fitness First Singapore.
At Paya Lebar, Fitness First has replaced its beverage fountains with complimentary and healthy flavoured natural water infused with seasonal fruit. Energy bars, protein drinks and isotonic drinks are also available for purchase.
With the addition of Fitness First Paya Lebar, the East, traditionally known to be a lifestyle and foodies paradise now has even more wellness options, allowing residents to easily add fitness to their daily lives.
Fitness First Paya Lebar opens from 6AM to 10PM from Monday to Friday, and 8AM to 10PM on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
