So, what’s a LIVE on-ground screen test?
LIVE screen tests in Asia kicked off in Singapore before the TV crew went on to Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Check out our photo coverage to see the process! Fitness First at The Cathay played host to over 100 people on 25th July at the on ground auditions for Singapore, with the earliest person starting to queue 3 hours early at 6:50am! All participants underwent a health check conducted by a team of Fitness First personal trainers before heading off to the screen test in the Group Exercise studio.
The reasonSuccess begins with deciding to get off the couch and seek advice from the right experts. For many people, that is a major psychological obstacle in itself. It entails leaving the comfort of your personal space. Each participant has his/her own compelling reason for having the courage to join the program. We spoke to participants, perhaps their reasons strike a chord with you as well:
“I am afraid of developing obesity-related illness and as such not being able to see my daughter, who is now four, walk down the aisle twenty years from now. Also I want to resume concern me. My objective is weight loss,” - Iskandar, 30, a Singaporean civil servant. Married with one child, he has been overweight for six years. Weight: 122kg.
