Confidentiality

Security of your personalised FitSync account is of utmost importance. Under no circumstances do we recommend you share your verification password with any friends, members or staff. 

What is my user name and verification password?
Your user name and verification password is automatically generated upon joining Fitness First. You will receive both the user name and password via the email you provided. All automatically generated user names and verification passwords are a generic combination and as such, we recommend you change your user name and verification password immediately. 

How do I change my User Name and Verification Password?
You can change your username and password once you've logged in by clicking on My Account on the left side of the page. 

How do I log into my FitSync Account?
You can log in with your user name and verification password.

Your FitSync Account Password is the same as your verification password. 

If your password doesn't work, contact your club reception to reset your password.

Booking your sessions

Booking any of your starter sessions; BODYSTART or BODYFIRST®, or booking your Personal Training sessions is easy. All you need to do is confirm with us what time and day is most suitable for you and we will do the rest.

To be absolutely sure of your appointment date and time, we will send you an email the night before your agreed session time. A friendly reminder in your inbox when you wake up in the morning!

Verifying your personal training sessions

Step 1:
Check into the club as usual by using your Fitness First Membership card. 

Step 2:
Meet up with your trainer to start your BODYSTART, BODYFIRST® or Personal Training session. 

Step 3:
When you finish your session proceed to the front desk and inform reception that your session is finished. 

Step 4:
The reception team will locate your details on the FitSync terminal at the front desk. 

Step 5: 
Your name, your trainer's name and your session details will appear on the screen. 

Step 6:
After checking the screen, you will be asked to key in your ‘Member Password' to validate you have completed your session with your trainer. 

Step 7:
A confirmation note will be sent to your email address confirming your session was conducted.

Electronic mail notification

To aid better planning and total visibility on your Personal Training package progress, you will be notified via e-mail in the following instances. 

Personal Training Package Purchase
Upon purchasing a personal training package, you will be sent an email showing your package details as well as trainer name. 

Booked Sessions
Each evening, prior to the day of your booked Personal Training session, our system will automatically generate an email to your address informing you of the agreed time and date of your appointed session scheduled for the following day. This is simply confirming the appointed session agreed between you and your trainer. 

Completed Sessions To ensure you are fully up to speed with your progress, you will be issued with an email either after you have conducted a session or when a booked session has expired. 

Through this notification, you receive detail on session verification date and time, sessions outstanding, as well as remaining validity on your personal training package. All the necessary information you need to arrange your time and get the most out of your Personal Training programme. 

Missed Sessions
We will notify you in any case that you were unable to attend a booked personal training session. We do this to be totally sure you had booked the session and not a mistake on our part. This is particularly important as any missed session will result in a deduction of that session from your personal training package balance. 

Username or Password Change
A confirmation email will be sent to you in the event a change is made to either your account username or password. This is our way of checking to make sure you remain updated on recent changes plus ensuring only you have access to your account. 

New Trainer
Whenever being assigned to a new trainer, you will receive details of your trainer choice for future reference. 

Month-end Personal Training Balance
At the turn of every month, you will receive notification of your Personal Training balance and a reminder of your package validity.

It's on-line and it's mobile. No matter where you are; at home, in the office or away on holiday, you have 24-hour access to your FitSync account and its wonderful features. 

Whether you want to track your own progress, download your own personal workout programmes or connect with others through FitSync, this on-line application makes it possible. And with mobile apps for all hand phones, access has never been so convenient. 

Track your Progress
Printable workout logs and workout schedules show your workouts, exercises, targets, what you did last time, and training tips and notes. Record your activity online in your FitSync.com account. Personalize your FitSync.com homepage to monitor your progress, display completed and upcoming workouts, key performance indicators, muscle group distribution, and more, for a customized summary report of your entire fitness programme. View detailed progress charts and reports for all of your activity. 

Personal Workout Programs
Going abroad for work or on holiday? FitSync mobility allows you to keep in touch with your trainer and training program while you are away, so that you maintain your momentum in achieving your fitness and health goals.

Creating your own workouts

Your trainer can design workouts for you that you can access directly on your handheld or personal FitSync.com account. You can also easily edit workouts to quickly create a new one. 

You can create your own exercises, workouts or programmes (multi-week collection of workouts). FitSync gives you the flexibility to choose from a vast library of exercises with videos to create your own workout or you can create one from scratch. Create your own exercise and upload your video if you like. 

Is there a calendar for me to schedule my workouts?
Yes, you can schedule your own fitness programmes and your workouts for each day will be automatically downloaded to your handheld device when you sync.

How do workouts get to your mobile phone?

If your Windows Mobile device does not have Wi-Fi, you can use ActiveSync to connect to the Internet via an Internet-connected PC. 

If your Palm™ device does not have Wi-Fi, you can use third-party software to connect via an Internet-connected PC. You do not need to be connected to the Internet while using FitSync. 

iPhone™ and Android™ devices only need to be connected to download and upload data or view videos and charts.

What do you need to use FitSync?

Access in club Terminals are set up in your club for you to verify your Personal Training sessions after you have completed each one. These are located at the reception counter. Your trainer is responsible for booking your agreed appointments through FitSync prior to your arrival at the club. 

Access from home or work
For your own purposes, you will need a Mac / PC with access to the Internet so you can access your FitSync.com account. 

Access on your mobile
If you want to download and track workouts on your handheld device you'll need a device that can connect to the Internet so you can download your workouts. FitSync runs on devices powered by Windows Mobile® PocketPC 2003 or later, Palm OS® 4.0 or later, iPhone™, iPod™ Touch, Android™ or Java J2ME WAP 2.0 phone with GPRS data service. 

If you do not have a handheld device, you can still use FitSync on a PC with Internet access. 

Do you need to be connected to the internet to use FitSync on my mobile phone?
No, your workouts are downloaded and saved on your handheld so you do not need an Internet connection all the time. 

If your Windows Mobile device does not have Wi-Fi, you can use ActiveSync to connect to the Internet via an Internet-connected PC. 

If your Palm™ device does not have Wi-Fi, you can use third-party software to connect via an Internet-connected PC. You do not need to be connected to the Internet while using FitSync. 

iPhone™ and Android™ devices only need to be connected to download and upload data or view videos and charts.

How do you get FitSync on your mobile phone?

You can upgrade your FitSync Web account to add the software for your handheld device so you can download workouts to your device. Visit the Fitness First country web site and click on the FitSync logo. Log in on your Fitness First Country Web site with your username and password, then click on My Account and then Upgrade Account to get FitSync on your handheld. Any associated fees will be borne by you.

How much does FitSync cost?

As a member of Fitness First, your FitSync online membership is FREE. 

FitSync offers a Premium Membership that includes the software for your handheld device with a monthly or annual subscription. To view subscription rates, log in to your FitSync.com account, and click on My Account

Can I continue to use FitSync if I change clubs?

Your FitSync account is part of your Fitness First membership. You can keep using your FitSync account at any Fitness First club in Asia. Speak with reception for more details.
